The Anti-Candida protocol is a strict diet that recommends completely eliminating sugar, gluten, alcohol, and dairy products, as these types of foods promote the growth of fungal flora.

Indications for Following This Protocol

Presence of a complex of symptoms:
• Chronic candidiasis (including stomach) and thrush;
• Chronic urinary tract infections;
• White coating on the tongue, bad breath;
• Chronic stomatitis, tonsillitis;
• Mucus in the nasopharynx;
• Presence of iodophilic flora and yeast flora in stool analysis;
• Anal itching;
• Acne;
• Dandruff;
• IBS, functional gastrointestinal disorders;
• Bloating, gas;
• Neurodermatitis, atopic dermatitis;
• Seborrheic dermatitis;
• Psoriasis;
• Strong cravings for sweets and refined carbohydrates, coffee, alcohol, nuts, sweet fruits, sweet drinks;
• Chronic fatigue;
• Irritability and mood swings, anxiety, or depression;
• General feeling of unwellness.

Stages of the Anti-Candida Diet

Stage 1: Detox: For 5–7 days (if comfortable, it can be extended to 10 days), follow a detox diet to minimize effects from the die-off of fungal flora.
Stage 2: Elimination: Gradual removal of certain foods from the diet and their replacement for 6–8 weeks (the protocol may be followed for several months).
Stage 3: Expansion: Depending on improvements and absence of symptoms, gradually expand the diet to a standard healthy diet.
